GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES
Overall responsibility for structuring a project, performing the detailed planning, and managing project execution and completion of moderate or large projects
Defines the phase deliverables, tracks milestones and incurred expenses versus planned expenses, schedules role sand resources, evaluates risks and recommends contingency plans Manages the development of the technical strategy
Assigns resources and tasks, and manages quality assurance, resolution of issues, status reviews and reporting, development of standards, change control, customer support, and compliance with all policies and procedures. Able to facilitate workshops such as JAD, RAD and DRP sessions
REQUIRED SKILLS / EXPERIENCE
* 5+ years of project management large enterprise projects.
* Project Management within Asset Servicing/ Financial Industry.
- Able to develop plans, help determine/communicate priorities, forecast and assign resources against deliverables and budget. - Able to establish, build and maintain strong and effective working relationships with all partners on the project - Excellent interpersonal and consultancy skills. - Excellent organizational and time management skills - Excellent attention to detail - Ability to juggle multiple projects/iniatives - Business and technology acumen that provides agility
MAJOR DUTIES
Project Planning, Governance & Budget
- Prepares and maintains the overall project plan - Manages deliverables against project plan, tracking overall progress and deliverables as milestones in adherence to project standards and governance lifecycles; manages the review and sign-off for deliverables - Ensures project documentation complies with project standards and governance lifecycles; manage the review and sign-off for documentation, reporting to the program manager or steering committee where failures occur - Identifies, documents and actively manages Risks, Issues and Dependencies; escalates as appropriate to program management with requested solutions - Able to forecast and mitigate all significant risks during the project lifecycle - Manages changes to scope or plan assessing for impact on the project risk, project plan, resourcing and budget - Budget reporting: validates estimates based upon previous project actual and reflects stakeholders needs for financial reporting time period. - Understands and articulates project benefits for inclusion in appropriate requests and project closure assessment for benefit realization. - Ensures final product or process met agreed upon business case and/or scope
Communication
- Documents stakeholder matrix and communications plan - Provides status reports on agreed upon interval (weekly, bi-weekly) covering all aspects of the project: activities planned for the previous week, activities completed against the plan for previous week (Key Accomplishments), activities not-completed against the plan for previous week with impact assessment, activities planned for coming week, escalated/critical Risks, Issues and Dependencies including the proposed solution/outcome desired and budget versus Actual - As required, provides appropriate reporting up to the business area or project tracking - Support any change management activities as a result of the project outcomes
