Reporting to the Director of IT, you would be initially responsible for the design, implementation and support of applications within our B2B\B2C environment. You will partner with the business leaders, subject matter experts, and technology professionals to understand the company's strategic direction and priorities, and work to assure the design and delivery of solutions providing the highest business value. You will also participate in design workshops/working sessions for process identification and (re)design.
We are seeking a Team Member who possesses the following attributes:
EXPERIENCE IN DEVELOPMENT & SUPPORT OF N-TIER ECOMMERCE APPLICATIONS USING .NET IN RETAIL ONLINE STORES.
Highly-motivated, detail-oriented, self-directed and flexible. The ideal candidates should have very strong design, development and excellent problem solving skills.
You will be working in a virtual software development team comprised of internal and external (offshore) resources.
Experience in creating intuitive designs and specifications for offshore resources.
Willing to conduct online webinars for knowledge transfer at night and early morning with offshore team.
You will be working on support issues and new development, as well as design through release management.
You will be working with subject matter experts, business analysts, project managers and infrastructure engineers in remote locations.
You will participate in every phase of the software development lifecycle (Agile & Waterfall) and need to have vision beyond the technical aspects of a project.
You desire to learn and are always looking for opportunities for improvement, regardless of the solution components (people, process, technology).
Strong customer and business orientation, interpersonal, written and verbal communications skills....a real team player.

Experience / Skills Required:
* 7-10 years of solid application development experience using Microsoft technologies with Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or equivalent
* In depth - Hands on experience in:
.NET Framework with development / support experience of N-tier E-Commerce applications using .NET in online retail environments.
