SKILLS REQUIREMENTS
Expert level DBA skills in SQL Server 2005 and Sybase 11.x & 12.x
High level proficiency with Microsoft SSMA tool for automating migration between Sybase and SQL Server
Very proficient with TSQL procedural programming
Expert level skills in performance tuning, SQL Server mirroring and high availability architectures
Experience with major Sybase to SQL Server migration projects and in-depth knowledge of differences between Sybase 11.x , 12.x &
SQL Server 2005
Ability to analyze application changes (C, C++ and Unix batch scripts) required for migrating application from UNIX to Windows environment
Ability to analyze Visual Basic code for changes required when migrating from Sybase to SQL server
Self starter, excellent communication skills, ability to multi -task with proven experience in leading of database migrations from Sybase to SQL Server
DESIRED REQUIREMENTS:
Net I/Q experience for monitoring SQL Server databases
Informatica/ ETL experience
PowerBuilder experience
