The c#.NET Developer is responsible for the quality and delivery of business systems design, analysis, programming and data modeling products on schedule, within prescribed resource limits and in accordance with client requirements and departmental standards.
Primary Responsibilities
Participates in and contributes to all phases of systems development, including detailed design specification, programming, maintenance, work estimates, client training, data conversion and modeling, testing, performance tuning, systems communications, disaster recovery, production scheduling, and final implementation.
Maintains responsibility for c# and .net development.
Ensures work products are of the highest quality through design/execution/documentation of unit test plans, expected results, and actual results, and preparation/execution of system tests.
Codes and documents system functionality that adheres to standards. Generally responsible for the complex business logic and/or technical components of a system under guidance of more senior programmer analysts or project managers.
Responds to and resolves user inquiries.
Expands and develops technical skill set on a continuous basis.
Identifies, recommends and implements improvements to current area of responsibility.
Participates in 24x7 application support.
Handles related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree preferred but not required.
Microsoft certifications preferred.
At least 3+ years of c# experience, c# gui experience a plus.
3+ years of SQL server experience required.
Foxpro experience a plus.
Financial industry experience a plus.
